I enjoy participating in Everybody Wins! Even though it's only one hour a week, it makes a great difference in these chidren's lives. It's just a superb program any way you look at it.

I did my first "Power Lunch" today, and it was great! I read with a 4th grader at Windsor Elementary. I hadn't read with a child since my guys were little—I'd forgotten how much fun it is!

I've absolutely LOVED spending time reading to these kids. It's something I really look forward to each week... these lunchtime sessions keep me grounded when the workday gets too hectic and remind me what's really important in life. Thanks for the opportunity to share some thoughts...

I have found the time spent to be very rewarding, as well as challenging. It has been nice to see our student make progress and become less shy with each session. I am glad that Everybody Wins took the time to visit the Kemin campus and provided me the opportunity to contribute.

I really enjoy the experience. It is fun to watch the development of the child I read with. It has been a long time since my children were that age that I had forgotten how much I liked pre-schoolers! Thanks for the opportunity.

I am enjoying it and feeling like I'm finally doing something worthwhile for someone else.

It is the most rewarding experience to have a child so excited to see me come and read with them. I think I’m getting as much out of this opportunity as my child is. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

I really enjoy reading with Craig. Both of us have been there every week except for two, so we've really been able to build a relationship. I enjoy sitting with him and his classmates at lunch, so I have a chance to interact with more than just one student. After eating, Craig and I go and read. At first he wasn't very interested in the books, but now he really enjoys them and is very involved in them. He particularly likes learning about sharks right now. The teachers tell me that he behaves much better than usual when I'm there, so I only wish I had the time to come more often. Thanks for coordinating the program.

The volunteer readers that come to the preschool are such a big part of our week. The children can’t wait for the time that they come. It has been the best experience for our children. Our volunteer readers have become apart of our school learning process. They are the best!
